Producer/Writer

For the past 18 years, three-time Emmy award-winning video-maker videomaker (Dedication and Critical Stages) Jill Evans Petzall has focused her attention on social justice issues, producing work that represents people not usually heard in mainstream media. Her many writer/producer honors include a Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) Award, a Cable ACE Award nomination, a CINE Golden Eagle Award, three National Educational Film & Video Festival awards and the National Poetry Association & Television Literacy's Maya Angelou Award. For eight years she produced programs for KETC, the St. Louis PBS affiliate. Petzall is now owner of Beacon Productions, Inc and is a senior instructor at the Honors College at University of Missouri-St. Louis.

DEEDS ROGERS
Director

As part owner of the Arbor Group, Deeds Rogers has been directing for over 15 years. She has won numerous Addy and Emmy Awards, and together with Petzall has been honored with a Cable ACE Award nomination, National Educational Film & Video Festival Silver Apple, ITVA's Golden Reel, three Regional Emmy nominations and the National Poetry Association & Television Literacy's Rimbaud Award. She has a background in camera, lighting and editing.

WALLY BONHAM
Editor

Wally Bonham, owner of New World Post Productions, has been a videotape editor for the past 18 years. Previously he was the station manager at Cape Girardeau, Missouri Public Television. He is the winner of many Telly, Addy and Emmy Awards.

ILENE ORDOWER
Executive Producer

Former member of the Missouri House of Representatives Ilene Ordower has an extensive record of community activism. Her areas of expertise include legal advocacy for victims of spousal violence, programming and shelters for the homeless and women's healthcare. Working with producer Jill Evans Petzall, she was executive producer for Rule of Thumb, a documentary concerned with the legal rights of abused women.

DOUG HASTINGS
Videographer

Doug Hastings is a four-time Regional Emmy Award-winning cinematographer for lighting and photography. Before his current position at Technisonic Studios in St. Louis, he was assistant news director for the ABC affiliate in St. Louis.

timothy n. gregory
Composer/Sound Designer

timothy n. gregory, owner of letterbox music studios, has been composing for stage, television and film for the past 7 years. He writes and records with musicians around the world.
