I left Spain some 40 years ago and have not felt any need to return to a country that can operate as the civil war and the repression after that never happened. I have not seen any acknowledgment of, or shame, for the some 40 years of the dictatorship, or for how it was gained and maintained.

I had put all that behind me, but I remembered when, by chance, after our local news, your program, "End Of Waiting Time", came on. Many terrible memories from those times came back.
I am ashamed of those that governed then and those that supported them, even if they can't bother to be.

Thanks to those that brought that to light, small voices that they may be. Those stories do need to be told and recorded, even after all these many years that have passed by.
