Its really a wake up call to me. I never really saw it in a way like this before. All us american children don't really get a grasp of the true reality of the situation. It really show's me presonnely that I am a really bellesed child. Iv never been in a war none the less grew up in one. It makes me appricciate this life I have in the States. And I feel a little dum becouse I get upset over little things like not being able to get my drivers license. If I never get for the ended of these wars I would do any thing.

These stories sound so terrible! I hope everyone is okay! Sounds like a hard life!

From the eyes of a girl in America I can not even picture the tragedies experienced by children my age who are halfway around the world. I sit here complaining abut school and working when they are dropped out of school because they had NO options and had to work to support their family. America has options, we have access to jobs, education, and medicine. Think of their daily goal as surviving not having fun like sleepovers or watching movies. To help these people we need to be able to relate to them so we can help them.

These children are truly amazing! They try so hard for things that we take for granted. When we sit and complain about "nasty" food they are struggling to find food for tomorrow let alone a month. They make the best of every bad situation they encounter and don't complain. These children are hard working and deserve a chance to live a life, free of worry. I can only hope one day that they can be free from worrying!

These stories send a powerful message that I think everyone should hear. These teens are very brave and fight for what is right. These teens are amazing for what they go through some examples are losing their family members and working long hours to just keep their families alive and to help their parents. We have to remember that there is probably thousands of these stories like the ones that are published. Thank You:)

Shaima is a model citizen. She devoted her life to making everyone else's better. Her act of selfishness is the key to making this nation flourish. She was determined to help her family and putting herself out into the press world can make children just like her become aware of what is actually happening on the other side on the world.

I think these kids have gone through so much and their stories need to be put out there more, so kids like them know they have a voice.

I think that these stories should be publicized better so that more people knew the stories of these kids. Maybe it would change people's views and help fight the terrible things that happen to these kids.

I really liked how in Shaima Abdul's story, she was determined to keep on earning money for her family. She wove carpets for only $200 every two months. She was quite brave.
