hi, The directer mai al massri visited our university and showed us some of her work, but this documentary was the most touching of all, i cried a lot because i felt the girls were like my family. anyways, Mai Al Massri told us about the girls, they are both completing there studies abroad, manar is in the u.s. and mona i think in australia. god bless everyone

I watched this movie for the first time in about a year ago, and i saw it again now. I loe this documentary film, that shows my people, who is strong, proud and happy no matter the situation! It is good that the rest of the world sees this, and knows how it is living as a refugee without any rigths in OUR OWN COUNTRY! I cry all the way throug this film... I feel with these girls! My father was shot by israelis in the war too. I think we need so much more of these kind of films, that shows the situation from palestinian perspectives! Make the world know who the real terrorist are!

i watched the film yesterday in New York and Manar spoke at the end - she is now a bright,eloquent and intelligent 19 year old. the film was excellent, how anyone can think it is propganda is beyond me - they should search their consciences deeply. The plight of the Palestinians was simply and powerfully illustrated by the words of these children - they just wanted to belong, to have a place to call home - indeed to go home. Manar actually told us that her grnadfather, with whom she had visited her old village, was shot and killed by the Israelis. I defy anyone to talk to that girl and still think this is propoganda. Incredbily powerful, thank you!

Hi,i saw the movie and i felt like i was all of the children and i think them similar to the brazilian people because of the happines,they dance like brazilians.I hope the war stop there.Espero que os EUA parem de se intrometer na polÌtica mundial e n„o faÁa mais nenhum paÌs sofrer,inclusive o meu!

I just saw the film, and I got myself so deeply sad, to think that today¥s world still living under such miserable life.People don¥t think anymore about love, respect, and freedom.They¥re just fighting for material things. But the mainly importance of this film, is that we¥re still must have hope, when you see that children can expect a better world, even though inside their hearts! That¥s what I hope so! Thank you!

It is hard to believe that we live in the 3rd millennium and still witness the Israelly government - using Hummers, COLT AR 15, and and some other 'discreet' help from the US government - to "expand" the geographical territories into some of their neighbor countries. It is a huge statement that one can take over the land of the other, and UN will keep their eyes closed... something like the Petroil War on Iraq. Some countries "own" the UN. The kids we see in the movie will probably switch from dreams to weapons in the next years... wouldn't you? Didn't you feel an urge to go there and tear those barbed-wires by yourself?

I really want to know how this kids are now! I'm cry when I saw this document because is really sad to know that our brothers lives in a subhuman condicion and I just want that everything in this children's life will be ok now! good luck for mona e manar, I love this girls! And the PALESTINE is from this people! Fight for your contry!

I hope that those children had been saved, and stay together someday . Very sad, I am crying yet... I can't imagine that any reason justify that atrocity... I would like to do something, but what can I do but to pray and to cry??? DEUS OS ABEN«‘E !!! GOD BLESS THEM !!!

The film touched me and made me think again: WHY WHY and WHY? Why destroy the hope, the life, the dignity, the dreams of innocent people? Is it possible to change emails with them and how? May GOD keep the faith and hope of Palestinian people. I am blessed to live in a country where NEVER faced the WAR. PAX! Simone
