Hi I am just a regular girl who wants to get into modeling. I have got accepted ALOT. I get complements on how pretty i am everyday but the problem is i dont know which agencies are model scams and which arent.

I am almost 15 and I am 5\'7 and weigh 138. I am so worried about my weight and body image, seeing thes girls who look so perfect and are concernd with their weight makes my self-esteem drop down. Modeling sounds like so much fun but getting there sounds hard and i feel like getting there sounds impossible, but reaching for your dreams is what I\'ve been taught and my friends always have the right things to say to let me know I can make it. So to all those girls out there like me let\'s just thank God for what we have.

Hi everyone, I am 15 yaers old and I have moved to England with family sfter my parents were in an accident, I used to win pagents all the time when I was in the USA but they do not heve them in Enland. The people I have spoken to over here are really worried about the well being of little girls who look that pretty as there are so many weirdo's in the world. I never even thought of this as a contestant but I will never expose my future children to the evil men who prey on the innocent.

i am 16 and i have been doing beauty pagents since the age of 4 and i feel that they give you self confidence and the confidence to speak out about what you belive. you cant beat the feeling that you get when you get crowned on a stge infront of everyone. another good thing which comes from these pagents is tht you make friends from all over your country and when you do international pagents you make friend from all over the world.

Hi everybody, i am 11 years old and i have been competing in pageants since i was about 4 or 5. I think they are great. they have given me the confindence to get out there and be the person i want to be!!! I wouldnt trade being in them for the world!!!!!!!!!

HI, my name is linda. i have always dreamed of singing or acting. i am looking for pagents to go to. i wanna be discovered. i would kill to have the life of a star. or jsut be on a commercial. people say if i enter enough beauty pagents they think i could go far. you know being 13 isnt all that easy. when you want something you want it bad. like rigt now. you see, i was invited to a pagent. but the head people didnt realize i was 13 instead of 15, and you had to be 15 and over to get any where in it. so they told me w/ my looks and atitude i could go places. so, now i am looking for pagents. thats it!

Pagents should be done to have fun. Not just to go out and think your pretty or better then the next child. I live Here on the Navajo reservation and we have school Lil Miss or Miss, different agency pagents and the Miss Navajo Nation pagent - they don't go by who has the smallest waist or who has the best complextion. It is about who has the ability to represent their school, their agency or the Navajo Nation. It is those that have a clear voice, can talk and perform in front of crowds that win these pagents. Not everyone has a small waist or perfect complextion. Come on get real. It should be about the fun it represents in joining a pagent, Thank you.

Hi my name is jessica but everbody calls me jess and I am 14 years old, and well I have been doing pagents since I was a year old and I loved them from the time I started. Every pageant there is out their I have done including photogenitc, glitz and none glitz plus many many more. I have only lost 2 in the many years I have been doing them and I have won about 22 crowns and about 58 trophies and about 75 sashes and 15 plackes and 17 medals and one time I even won a 6,000 dollar savings bond. But what I want to say is that all you people who say pageants are bad and that you do not aggre with them, have probley never even been in one or the first one you where in you lost and decided to give up because of that. So do not dis them when you do not know anything about them.

i am 12 years old.i have been in beauty pagents since i was 4yrs.i do ciderlla tx state pagent.i have done ok but we don't focus on how fat or scinny we are .it matters mostly what your attuide is.they are looking for someone that has a good positive attuide.ciderlla is a nonglitsy pagent. i am currently lil miss.houston and ithink there is any thing wrong with beauty pagents.if you have a coments please wriye back and say that i'm wrong other wise i will think that there is nothing wrong with beaty pagents.thanks samantha
