an excellent and powerful book for your readers to ponder: 3rd ed. of: Race and the Rise of the Republican Party, 1848-1865. This is a serious treatment of US racism/ethnocentrism using 4 disciplines: US History/Political Science/Psychology/Sociology. This book offers a pro-Southern view of the onset of the Civil War and has received many excellent reviews. Thank you. Dr. James D. Bilotta

I stubled across this web page. My grandmother(non-jew) was also imprisoned in nazi-camps during the war I have been involved with hate groups since the I was 8 years old, and never regretted anything, me and my friends follow the truth not what has been brainwashed into the rest of the country

In response to the person who commented on the "all black" events (pageants, scholorships etc.) I belive your view comes from a lack of knowledge as to the reason why the African-American community must fight to have something of our own. First, it is a fact that in general school with a majority have better funding, better equipment, and and better cirriculums. By intergrating these schools children from my community have a better chance of achiving higher education. Although many laws have been put in place in order to make our world fair, my people are still at a disadvantage because its not fair. There is still discrmination and there is still racism. As a minority group we represent a small portion of the population, therefore if we dont have our own then we will suffer as we have been suffering since we we bought to this county as slaves. I know many people tire of hearing that, but it is ture we are still affected by that and until people accept that we will have a problem.

By reading the comments of the former Neo-Nazi's Greg and TJ, it seems as though they have changed, or have they? TJ is more likely to stay away from the white supremacist movement because he was brought up by a "normal" family. Greg, on the other hand was raised on hate since his father was a hate monger himself. When you are taught rage from an early age, it's hard to overcome. It's a familiar feeling for Greg, even though he knows its not good. I feel sorry for people who have not been able to experience love and have been manipulated to have fear take its place.

This film and web site put a human face on the origins of hate and as scary as it is, somehow it's easier to accept when you understand where it's coming from.

I think that Greg's struggles are not that much different than anyone elses struggles--just that they are at a greater extreme. I Have been reading Jack Kornfield's new book, After the Ecstasy, the Laundry, which puts a human face on our spiritual leaders;it is clear that we ALL have bits and pieces of enlightenment and bits and pieces of the dark side. There is great beauty and learning in this contradiction.

On another note, I intimately know someone who was beaten as a child--every day it is a struggle for him to believe in himself, and to not live in the world of fear and loathing. When an adult threatens violence or is violent to a child they assign that child to a life of unrelenting fear and mistrust. And then the legacy continues.

It has come to my attention that you people are living in a wolrd that I am not. I believe in equaltiy for all. Tell me this though can you have a all white beauty pageant,or a all white team , neighborhood,job setting,or anything else, but we all know as a fact that you can and do have all black things with no admittance for whites like a black scholarship or beauty pagents and many others is this not racist against the white race why can they have a all black anything they want but let whites do this and it is racist or it will be drug into court to make it integrated. The state i live in buses children for hours to have diversity in the schools if the blacks had a school that was all black do you think they would go to court to make whites go to it no that is ok but have a all white school and it is illegal

Christ did not die so that we could create divisions, he died praying that we "might all be one", loving God and loving our neighbour. Let us, therefore, love our neighbour, whatever the creed our colour.

I was fascinated by the "new" Greg and by his relationship with his wife. Unfortunately I missed the final update on Greg, the words that appeared on the screen. I saw something about domestic violence. Can someone please reiterate what was said about what happened, what he did?

Greg Withrow's story is fascinating. I believe he is so scarred by his father's abuse that he'll go to great lengths simply to get attention. There was a certain lack of, or maybe too much, sincerity in his voice, his actions, and his words. Redemption came too easy. In "Toothless Martha" he found not a savior, but someone he could engage in co-dependent behavior with, possibly someone who was weaker than him. His relationship with Maria, who probably sniffed one too many cans of glue in her youth, certainly seemed that way; that creature was utterly defenseless. I was not surprised when at the end it was explained that he was arrested for domestic violence and engaging in hate related crimes. I truly felt the betrayal his very handsome karate instructor and other friends who offered support must have experienced when news of his arrest was made public. To the goon who placed the 7/27/00 comment: We do live in the same world, but most of us see and understand the struggles people of color still face. No matter how you try to dress it, there is blatant inequality in this country.

I believe that we all have within each of us a Positive and a Negative energy. Even though I am not a religious person I could say in other words that we all have God and the Jin or Devil within each of us. I came to a point in my life where I realized this and accepted it. The "Jin" or this negative energy is powerful and we shouldn't underestimate it. We have to fight within ourselves our demonds by doing positive things, meeting positive people, going to positive places, trying to avoid anything negative. In this life your only obstacle, your only true enemy is YOURSELF.
