Every year, 50,000 soldiers are released from the Israeli army. Nearly 30,000 find their way to India and the Far East to experiment with drugs. Approximately 2,000 soldiers will reach a psychotic state that will require them to be institutionalized. FLIPPING OUT tells the little-known story of the price that Israeli society is paying for the occupation.
Co-production of Topia Communications, Cinephil, the NFB and ITVS International, produced in association with the Sundance Channel
Premiere: Sundance Channel, September 8, 2008 at 9 PM
