Boredom
by R. Denniston

Mind is drifting
slowly dripping
whole, i do not have
conscious slipping
trees need trimming
purpose i do lack
eyes are grinning
peaceful swimming
staring at my mind
I must reflect
I do regret
being so benign
Conformity
deformity
are my true desires
but when its lit
my purpose it
is what my brain requires,
lips are cracked
saliva smacked
the corner of my desk
useless facts
soon reacts
causing my unrest.
