November Song
by Eryn Leigh

The Silence in place of an answer I needed
Is driving me insane
Where have all the people gone
Who wanted me to fly?

Pleasing Falsetto plays,
It's not alright now
And I'm so lonely I don't even want to
Be with myself anymore.

Tears fall quietly in their place
Splashing like an ocean where they land
On pages of memories that will last
For longer than I'll ever want.

Eyes too dry to cry anymore,
A comfort ripped away from me
Pieces of broken sanity
Lay forgotten on the ground.

Ashes sprinkling down to the earth
A flame so hot it takes away the pain
Scars left behind to show the world
Just how over life can be.
