Happy Family?
by Christian Vien

You tortured our emotions
burned our tears
til they no longer ran
you are a man
yet hidden within is a beast
all actions seem to sease as it is released
you bashed her with assaults of words
molding her pride into nothingness
her food you claim is horrible
to me i enjoy the fact that shes even home to stand the steam and oil
cutting her fingers wrapping the saran wrap and foil
my happy family!
together at dinner
silence...
chew chew chew
more chewing dull emotion the only thing spewing
now shes thinkin that shes no good
discussions i try and cause life
but chaos is stricken in the end
everyone is misunderstood
words are fed into unwilling mouths
that are accused of speaking discontent
always your standards i am forced to go by
to me
FUCK tradition
i always ask why
we claim to be independent
yet we have oppressers underneath our own settlement
irrelevant to the situation
i sit pondering my endless trail of thoughts
waiting...
waiting.....
