These Dreams
by Meagan Kay Campbell

Blood shed
Tears Cried
How many in the past
Have died?

A nation torn
Her father weeps
Why is it hatred
Always creeps

Up in the hearts
Of human race
Try as they may
It seems to chase

Them everywhere
They just can't hide
>From the truth
They shield there pride

Somewhere in their hearts
They know
It is wrong
And it must go

So today
We start anew
Hoping and praying
These dreams will come true
