The Black Flower
by MaryBeth

Uncivilized mistress born a black petal
into a life full of sin
Unsuitable to live in a native land
black flower of society lives in a state of confusion
It merely survives out of fear
One night of adornment an outcast its left her
Alone in a world so cold holding onto the symbol of sin
She attempts to stand up approaching the cross
Searching for her next move as a man draws near,
Close to the public shame
In his eyes a manifest of fury,
blood of the flower, fellow sinner could it be?
why now in the state for rage has he picked to appear
The hussy begins to weep as he draws near
Not has her faith ever brought forth this much agony
His livid expression and his devious smirk,
show he knows more than she
With one breathe of his he can make her public indignity deeper
The power he possesses regulates everyone around him
