and we fall.

apart.

a sigh
whispers from my lips.
and the eyes that once blurred moonlight
close.

steal this moment
and make it black.
turn it into
the home you've always wanted.
and wallow in it.

sorrow
and maxed out half smoked cigarettes.

oooh baby.

give me some more artificial love
and intelligence
and honey
i'll be set.

feed into what isn't real
and love what isn't there.

steal this moment
and make it black.
turn it into
the home you've always wanted.
and wallow in it.

cave your soul
and try your hardest.
smile your brightest and laugh your hardest
and maybe they won't notice.

take that bottle and shove it down your throat
cause baby
you'll feel better this way.
yea
you'll feel better this way.

and I never wanted anything more
than you.

steal this moment
and make it black.
turn it into
the home you've always wanted.
and wallow.

yea baby
make your soul black and carry on with your fake life.
I'll be waiting for you.
on the other side of the rainbow
when all your dreams collide and refer back to me.
I'll be there.
your pot of gold.
a leprechaun in anti-green.

make it black.

yea.

make it black.

cause when it's black
it's charred.

it's gone.
