Lining in the clouds by Jose Vadi Walking down old streets of indignation, Tightrope courtesy of the curtsy of the sidewalk's imagination, Feeling the cold resonate from the embrace of pine friends, Initiation of childhood memories - reflect...let's begin, Taking in old memories like sharp pains of regret, Thrown at by knives of stupidity, words never meant, Quarter-like-price for the joy too expensive today, Dirt-like dreams of tossed leaves, climbing mountains daily, Sailing the universe as unified astronauts in playground rocket ships, Walking the same pathway day by humble day, Another page in the sticker-covered book of comical diaries, Too much hate, too much fear these days...just set me free, Into open pastures of ice-cream opuses melting cores of smiles past, Concrete jungles inhabited by all, all who are lucky, Breathe unto this paradise with innocent winds of childlike virtue, And bless these children for that which they do not know, In time their lives will have to feel the backlash I hold so near, Here in this pen of tears that I cherish and hold for you, my dear, And believe in the newly harvested crops as they rotate to your homes, With arms ready to embrace, these leaves caress my soul, Sending me to places, untold, unsold, and pristine in its vision, Untold fortunes reaped in hindsight's brutal convictions... |
