Confusion
by Cynthia

Sometimes I confuse:
What I need, what I want, what I deserve,
and what is available to me.
What I should have, or shouldn't have,
What is missing.

Sometimes I confuse:
Who I am, what I will be, what I should be,
but if we change every day then who am I to be me?

Sometimes I confuse:
Who you are, should I listen, should I understand?
Who is right if right is a matter that should or can be taken into
consideration?

Sometimes I think:
I deserve to understand that when I listen
to myself in the confidence to be free you
will matter more to me than I could
bring upon myself confusion.
