For Now
by Dustin Brookshire
Age: 19

The windows were down
As we cruised down the road
Wind gently caressing my face
Before it slipped out my window
We wouldn't stop unless forced
By a red light
Or stop sign
Or possible wreck
The night was ours
As we swayed to and fro
While singing to the radio
With the windows down
Beckoning in the wind
It wiped my soul clean
