Something to Think About... by Michael Rivera Love... such a strong word. It says so much, Yet, can mean so little. Actions... Actions speak louder than words. It can answer a lot of questions. Love? Lust? Infatuation? Love... What is Love? Is it just a word? Something you say when you care for someone? Or is it more? A mutual feeling two must share towards each other? ...or possibly a trick word? Can you ever Love someone or something more than the other? Or ever Love someone or something the same? You Love this...You Love that... You Love your mother...You Love you father... It's funny how one word can carry so many meanings. Love to Love...Love to Hate...Love to be...Love to do... Such a small word, yet, so complexed. It's almost impossible to dissect. Or is it? Back to Actions. Actions speak louder than words. But when you Love someone, how do you show it? A letter? Card? Poem? Song? Gift? The way you act when someone's around? Or when you're alone with someone? Is it really Love? Better yet... How do you know when you're in Love? How do you know when someone Loves you? Some people say you just do. It's possible... But then again... Do you really know someone as much as you think you do? Do you really know someone as much as you know yourself? Do you really know yourself? |
