I want self control to be undoubtedly spiral
Holding me up when I feel I'm on the brink
Hear me whine about the same old thing
Tell me what to think, anyways, isn't that what you're supposed to do?

I'm only a star roaming the Earth
You look on into the distance and pick me up
I'd tell you to put me down, stars aren't worth the trouble, but you just
won't let go
Now I think I can slip through your fingers
but I'm permanently attached like crazy glue

I'm falling apart into molecules, particles, atoms; that you're breathing
It's all adding into money in my bank
They all think I'm losing it, or maybe they're the ones that are confused
I'm normal, and you're all bogus and beginning to give me the creeps
