Addicted by Claire Body yearning, Brain Pulling, Heart reaching, Crawling creeping, to familiarity. Everything known becomes routine and routine becomes life until there is no turning back. Change is dreadful and difference is terrifying. Day after day, habit begins to pull. Drags you away to a world of repetition, away from reality. Life is swallowed up, buried in the back of your mind. All you think about is patterns. Patterns, routines repeating over and over in your mind And soon you find yourself not able to do anything else. New things petrify and experience sends a tingle up your spine Then your Body is yearning, Brain is pulling, Heart is reaching, Crawling creeping, to familiarity. |
