Where is My Mom
by Nicholas Bateman

Where is my mom
Where did she go
She said she'd be back an hour ago

Dad said she's gone now
Her airplanes went down he just doesn't know how
    But she'll come back
    She always comes back

It's been a few days now
but dad is still here
I know she'll come back tomorrow
But dad said he can't take any more sorrow

Where is my mom

Tears run down my dads face
as he watches t.v
He watches for hours saying this can not be

But what can not be
I don't understand
She will be back you'll see

He talks about terrorists and how they try to destroy our nation
But then I watched people giving a standing ovation
But who are these people.Do they have my mom
I keep on seeing see two huge towers falling as if by a bomb.

Where is my mom
where did she go
I guess she won't come back now
and that's all I know
There isn't any thing to say
All I can do is sit and pray

You took my mom
and I sit here and cry
all I can simply ask
Is WHY???

** Dedicated to all the children who has lost their mom in september 11th event.
