Tap Dance
This site, created by tap enthusiast Paul Corr, features a tap dance calendar, discussion areas, a "Who's Who in Tap," and extensive recommended books, films, and videos exploring the history and culture of tap dance.

Off Jazz Dance World
This French site (which also has an English version) explains tap terminology, forms and styles, and offers short instructional videos of basic steps, hat and cane dancing and even body drumming.

The Bojangles Museum
Offering a photo gallery, audio biography, and first chapter from Mr. Bojangles: The Biography of Bill Robinson, this site was created by the book's authors, Jim Haskins and N.R. Mitgang.

Masters of Tap: Home Vision (1989) - 61 minutes of lore on bebop and rhythm tap, including a master class with Honi Coles, recorded in London in 1983. Rare footage of the masters, featuring Chuck Green, Will Gaines and Coles.

Singin' in the Rain (1952) Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor star in what is probably the most famous and best-loved of all screen musicals. Set in Hollywood at the end of the silent era, the film features such classic numbers as "Make 'Em Laugh," "Broadway Ballet" and the title tune. 103 mins. (1952)

Tap (1989) - Gregory Hines, Sammy Davis, Jr. and some legendary hoofers star in a rousing dance showcase about a second-generation tapper and paroled jewel thief who's torn between the stage and a life of crime. 115 mins.
