My Memories of Jim Yee

I was recently checking out the ITVS website and saw the notice of Jim Yee's death. It saddened as well as surprised me. I worked at ITVS when it was located in St. Paul MN. There are two things to come to mind when I think of Jim. I always like Jim's sense of humor. It was hard to tell when he was joking, he was "the straight man". He would walk up to the receptionist area and make a statement, walk away only to look back and crack alittle smile. Jim had an aversion to suits and jackets. He was blue jean type of person. He would keep a jacket, a tweed I think, with elbow patches. He kept it in his office in case he had to make a important meeting. This is what I immediately liked about Jim when I interviewed for my job. I liked the relaxed atmosphere he set with the office. I saw him being a nonconformist and enjoyed my time working with him and the rest of the ITVS staff from 1993-95. Sincerely, Angela Earl
