Dear Betty, Jane and Liam,
I can't imagine how much you will miss your husband
and father. We, at work, miss him so much. I am
happy that you are surrounded by caring friends and
family and want you to know that I feel honored to have
had Jim be a part of my life.

Betty: Despite the fact that I am never at a loss for words,
I couldn't bring myself to call when Jim was not able to
talk back to me. We had such a great conversation for
nearly 25 years. I will send much, much more later, but
want you to know that you and the kids are in my thoughts
and praye

I had nearly the same experience as Beverly, although
my dream about a dear family member passing away
happened the night after I heard about Jim. Beverly is
SO right - he was always thinking of his family-family
even while he was with his work-family. My thoughts
are with you, Betty, and the kids. Bix's too.

Dear Betty and Liam, We are sorry to hear Jim had passed
away. Jason and I also adopted from St. Lucy. Madeleine
and Liam was born on the same year and they spend most part
of their first year together. We had recently adopted
Michael from St. Lucy. We hope you and Liam are doing well
and surrounded by your family and friends. Please wish
happy birthday to Liam for us and give him lots of kisses
and hugs for us. We just want you to know that we will pray
for you and Liam. Jim is in heaven now and he will watch
over you.

Betty, Jane and Liam,
It was with great sadness that we learned of Jim's death.
As part of our big pre-travel group meeting at Adopt
International before leaving for Wuhan, we will always hold
special memories of you both and our shared nervousness at
such an important juncture. Our hearts go out to you all.
The tribute to Jim's life and character on the itvs web
site is an amazing and wonderful thing for your children to
see and to read in the future.
