Although created for the "ageful" lesbian, no woman is excluded because of her age. Golden Threads is also a contact publication for lesbian women over fifty and their younger lesbian friends. Issue dates are March, June, September, December. Subscription is free to members. The Golden Threads Celebration first began in 1987. Every June, Golden Threads members and their lesbian women friends converge in Provincetown, Massachusetts. They celebrate themselves, their lesbianism and their age - whatever it is.
