ROY MCMURTRY


Roy McMurtry #45 was a very able runner, he covered five miles in 12 minutes and in 1922 he made the distance from Indianapolis, Indiana to San Francisco, California in 20 days. The press only noticed that he had one arm. He finished the race in 12th place.
