PETER GAVUZZI

Peter Gavuzzi #107 was a ship’s steward on the “Majestic”, of the White Star Line, and a sister ship to the “Titanic”. Gavuzzi had a good running record in England; he had won the Newmarket Marathon and other long-distance events. Gavuzzi dropped out of the race at Wauseon, Ohio, suffering from the effects of an abscessed tooth.
