César Chávez and the Farmworkers' Struggle

a film by Rick Tejada-Flores and Ray Telles from Paradigm Productions

Paradigm Productions, the Independent Television Service (ITVS) and PBS present a portrait of the charismatic leader of the United Farmworkers Union and the history and impact of the UFW. The heart of the UFW, Chávez remains the most important Latino leader in this country's history. The activities he and his dedicated organizers led inspired the Chicano activism of the 1960s and '70s, helping create a Latino civil rights movement.
