Together, Carpenter and O'Regan have won virtually every major broadcasting award, including the Peabody Award, the DuPont-Columbia, the Christopher Award, five National Emmy Awards, nine CINE Golden Eagles and an Ace Award. Specialists in public affairs, historical and cultural programs, their credits include episodes for PBS Frontline on El Salvador and on David Duke, a Discovery Channel mini-series on the history of the AIDS virus, and award-winning interactive laser discs on the lessons of war. Backed by a strong research and production team experienced in all phases of film and video production, and based in production facilities located in Manhattan's TriBeCa film district, Claypoint has distinguished itself by independently producing quality non-fiction specials and series for more than seven years.

Katherine Carpenter's background includes tenure as writer and producer for ABC's history series Our World and film editor of their documentary unit, Close-Up. Her first independent project was The Eagle and The Bear, Dispatches From The Cold War, Claypoint's 52-part history of the Cold War produced in collaboration with ABC News and Weintraub Entertainment for cable's Arts and Entertainment Channel. Carpenter went on to produce and direct such hour-long documentary films as In the Name of Progress for PBS, The Last Godfather for Fox and In All Her Sins and Graces: J.P. Donleavy's Ireland for the Discovery Channel.
Richard O'Regan reported from over thirty countries during his time as producer and writer for ABC News 20/20 and World News Tonight, and went on to produce programs for PBS's Frontline and CBS West 57th street. As Executive Producer of the Christian Science Monitor Reports, O'Regan supervised the production of the year-long series of weekly documentary reports from around the world, garnering dozens of awards and award nominations for Monitor Television. O'Regan has also distinguished himself in the realm of "new media" as producer of two interactive discs, Communism and the Cold War; which covers the history of the Cold War and its impact on the US, the USSR and the world; and Lessons of War, which explores war, peace and international relations throughout history.
