Recovering Racists Network
Recovering Racists Network gives support to people who believe and admit that "by growing up in a racist culture, there is no way they could have avoided becoming racists themselves." Rich site offers good links and resources for help and information.

The Center for the Study of White American Culture
"Not an organization for white supremacists - instead a multiracial organization that looks at whiteness and white American culture," the Center believes that white Americans must discover and appreciate their own culture in order to understand others.

Teaching Tolerance
Southern Poverty Law Center
In response to an alarming increase in hate crime among youth, the Southern Poverty Law Center began the Teaching Tolerance project in 1991 as an extension of the Center's legal and educational efforts. The National Campaign for Tolerance was created to mobilize a community of activists.

Anti-Defamation League
ADL is America's prime resource for information on organized bigotry. Searchable site offers a multitude of resources on hate crimes, civil rights, anti-Semitism, terrorism and religious freedom.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
Founded in 1909 by a group of black and white citizens committed to social justice, the NAACP is the nation's largest civil rights organization. Site explores both historic and present-day civil rights issues.

Simon Wiesenthal Center's Cyberwatch
The Center's Task Force Against Hate confronts extremism wherever it exists. Cyberwatch highlights the Center's perspective on the use of the Internet by hate groups. TJ Lyden's remarks are featured in "The Making of a Skinhead."

Hate Crimes Prevention Center
A one-stop clearinghouse for information on hate crimes, the Center educates the public about hate and combating prejudice and irrational fears that can lead to violence. Site offers laws, statistics and support.

Forgotten Fires
Companion site to the ITVS/PBS film that looks into the mind of a young racist who burned black churches in his hometown. Weaves a compelling narrative of faith facing down evil, the seductiveness of hatred, and the power of reconciliation. Award-winning site includes topics such as understanding hate, heroes against hate, healing and forgiveness, video clips and resources.

Not In Our Town
The Working Group
The Not In Our Town Campaign promotes public dialogue and provides a model for community response to hate crimes and other associated problems. The companion site to the PBS broadcast includes national networking, grassroots events, educational outreach and online activities.

Antiracist.com
Links section of a site hosted by the Canadian Anti-Racism Education and Research Society that claims to be a "virtual on-line information and resource centre" in response to hatred. Great links for research and resistance information.
